02Why one company
The pieces of a yard depend on each other
A patio is only as flat as the ground under it, a wall only lasts if the water behind it has somewhere to go, and new sod drowns on a lot that drains toward the house. When grading, drainage, stone and planting are planned by different people, those links are where the trouble starts.
At Wilhelm the same company does all seven, from the first walk around the yard to the maintenance plan afterward. Hunter Wilhelm started the business in high school and studied landscape architecture at UT Knoxville, so the design thinking and the digging come from the same place.
Patios and hardscapes are usually built in one to three weeks once work starts; site prep alone takes a few days to a week. The consultation and the written estimate are free.
